A people-first DMC with deep Nordic roots and global partnerships.

As one of the oldest female-owned DMCs, BDP has been based in Copenhagen and creating experiences across the region since 1997. We deliver business events, cruise services and group management with insight, integrity and impact. Guided by our values, we design experiences and build lasting partnerships with clients, communities and partners.

Sustainability with care and commitment

BDP is proud to be Travelife Certified – an international sustainability certification for the travel industry, developed in alignment with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The certification recognises our structured efforts to operate more responsibly across environmental, social and ethical dimensions.

Becoming certified isn’t a one-off achievement – it’s an ongoing commitment. We’ve documented our policies, reviewed our supply chain, trained our staff, and implemented practical measures to improve how we work. From emissions and energy use to labour rights and community impact, Travelife challenges us to reflect, take action, and continuously raise the bar.

For us, it’s not about ticking boxes – it’s about making thoughtful choices and being transparent about the journey. We know sustainability is a moving target, but we’re proud to be on the path – with purpose, care and an open mind.

Step by step – a thoughtful approach

Sustainability is complex. We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we take our role seriously. That means considering impact in the way we design, collaborate and deliver – and striving to make better choices wherever we can.

BDP collaborates with a wide network of suppliers and partners across the Nordics. We’ve outlined clear expectations for how we work together – because accountability doesn’t stop with us. It’s a shared effort to raise standards and build mutual trust.

We follow national health, safety and environmental laws across all the destinations we operate in – and we’re committed to continuously learning, adapting and improving.

To us, sustainability is a journey. We’re on the path – and we walk it with care, humility and curiosity.

Experiences that create connection – not just consumption

We believe that travel should add value – not just extract it. That’s why we design selected guest experiences that gently invite reflection on sustainability and social responsibility. Whether it’s local food, circular design, or a visit to a community initiative, the goal is to inspire – not to preach.
