Client’s Objective
In August 2025, TUI Cruises scheduled three consecutive Danish calls for Mein Schiff 1: Skagen, Aarhus, and Copenhagen. The objective was to ensure smooth port operations, personal service, and a consistent guest experience throughout the country, regardless of location.
BDP’s Solution
BDP prepared each call well in advance, coordinating local logistics and suppliers in all three cities.
To guarantee seamless execution, BDP team members were present at each call – two colleagues managed the ship in Skagen and Aarhus, while another oversaw Copenhagen. Every stop was personally received, with staff on site to liaise with the ship and supervise operations
Each destination required a tailored approach:
Skagen – A small fishing town with limited infrastructure, where the focus was on intimacy, local charm, and the surrounding nature.
Aarhus – Denmark’s vibrant second city, requiring coordination in a larger urban environment with cultural highlights.
Copenhagen – The capital and busiest cruise hub, demanding careful planning to manage high volumes efficiently.
BDP’s presence at all stops ensured smooth coordination, quick problem-solving, and consistent service throughout the journey.
Results
- Three Danish ports successfully handled in three consecutive days.
- Seamless adaptation to the distinct conditions of each location.
- Personal BDP presence at every call, guaranteeing reliability and continuity.
This case demonstrated BDP Cruise’s nationwide reach and ability to deliver tailored, high quality service across diverse destinations.
