Copenhagen Street Food

Taste an organic beer from Danish micro-breweries at “Stormly” or – for the hungry ones – enjoy a steak marinated in cider for 24 hours at the Berlin-siblings’ Comptoir du Cidre. Here your group can visit the 25 food trucks, stalls and containers for lunch, or spend an afternoon or evening with the local Copenhageners in an international atmosphere.

Copenhagen Street Food is located on Papirøen, next to charming Christianshavn and the old hippie-village Christiania. Just opposite is the Royal Theatre, and across the canal, you see the Opera; this venue offers one of the best views of the harbour. The venue is suitable for groups of all sizes; if you are seeking a casual, cosy place right at the centre of the city, Copenhagen Street Food is the place to go.

It is a great place for groups to sit back and relax while enjoying the view of the harbour with a cold, organic juice and a platter of charcuterie, while others might prefer having a seat inside at one of the food stalls, tasting Il Matarello’s homemade fresh pasta, or yakatori at the Japanese street kitchen, Yatai.

The high season begins on April 20. Want to know more about Copenhagen Street Food and how we can plan your visit? Please call Ebbe Kiær on +45 33 45 45 11 or contact him by e-mail at :ek@bdp.dk.
